Woman Accused Of Taping Dog To Fridge

Police say a Colorado woman wrapped her boyfriend's dog in packing tape and stuck the animal upside down to a refrigerator because he wouldn't get rid of it.

Abby Toll was arrested after police say she got into a fight with her boyfriend. She was charged with felony cruelty, drug possession and other counts and is free on $12,500 bond. She has declined to comment.

Toll's 21-year-old boyfriend, Bryan Beck, faces lesser charges
including a misdemeanor cruelty count.

Police say Toll, 20, used packing tape to bind the legs, snout and tail of Beck's dog, Rex, a Japanese breed called a Shiba Inu.

She told police she stuck the dog to the refrigerator because she
was angry Beck wanted to keep it.

Rex was taken to a shelter and will be put up for adoption.

Anonymous with a doggy dander problem. Your house couldn't be, as you say "more cleaner" than mine. Yours has a shedding, carpet butt wiping, dog dander flaking, pee dribbling mutt in it. You just think it is clean because you accept dog filth as part of your normal life. I gaurantee you that if walked into your house I would smell dog odor and I would be revolted. I know many people have animals in their homes, I can smell and see the evidence of it every time. If you have an animal in the house there is no hiding the fact. The odor and the filth on the upholstery are a dead giveaway. Nothing wrong with a dog outside though, in a doghouse. You can go pet the dog, get your hands nasty and smelly with dog slobber and dander, then go wash your hands and go inside the house where the dog is not, where it is clean and free of dog smell.

To Stan and Tad...apparently you just need to stay home. There is nothing disgusting about an indoor dog when they are trained. I have a small jack russell and I can guarantee you that my house is 10 times more cleaner than what your living in. If you have a problem with indoor pets, I recommend that you stay home because I can guarantee that there are more people with indoor pets than without. Maybe you two should move to that special country Stan was talking about.....

Brandi, what it has to do with abortion is the absurdity of the flawed liberal mind. Someone howls because they feel it is unethical to tape a dog to a fridge but the same misguided liberal mind sees nothing wrong with mechanically vacuuming an unborn child from it's mother's womb.

Stan Blackaby of Greenville, well said. Keeping animals in the house is nasty and disgusting. When I go in someone's house that keeps animals inside I don't want to eat or drink, sit on the furniture, breath the foul stinch in the air or touch any of dried dog slobber that is most assuredly part of the environment.

what does this have to do with abortion. Hello left field!! This girl is sick and would probably hurt a baby just as easily as an animal. But abortion is not the issue here.

How did this go political?..? Change in 2012? Ha! Not enough change for you yet huh? I would like to know what the boyfriend got charged for. I know it says misdemeanor cruelty. I can only think that it comes from a neglect standpoint. Possibly from the fact that he allowed that crazy chick to even be around the dog. Oh, I agree, beautiful dog!

Maddog: I read the article. Free speech. Free blog. Take off your narrow vision glasses. If animal rights gets more attention than human rights, I have the right to speak up. Prolife and love animals too. 2012 here yet? There will be change in 2012.
