Construction on one of the worst bridges in the state has been delayed by one year.
The Buddy Phillips Bridge in Onslow County, also known as the Highway 17 Bridge is the 7th worst in North Carolina according to Triple A of the Carolinas.
Crews say a utility line has to be moved, and that's what's causing the setback.
The 66 year old bridge was supposed to be done later this year.
