Mounting bills and less work.

Unfortunately many of us can relate to it, but one local man can breathe a sigh of relief about his financial woes, since hitting the lottery's "lifetime riches" lottery.

Gilbert Steven Proctor, or Steve, will now get 50 thousand dollars for the next 20 years.

On Monday, he took a break from work as a telephone cable contractor to buy a soda.

He walked into this convenience store in Rocky Mount and decided to buy a scratch off ticket as well.

That ticket was one of six top prizes of a million dollars. Proctor says he knows exactly what he wants to do with the cash.

Proctor is quite a lucky man, he tells us, before he hit the top prize, he had won more than a hundred dollars on a scratch off ticket the day before.

Who could possibly miss an American >cough< woman? Sorry, sir. No mouthbreathing, med-addicted, cellphoned operating, foul mouthed obese money grubber will be parking her "Princess" winshield bannered Cavalier in my driveway. Here's hoping this prize winner installs a Security detail around his home to keep the liberal welfare state away as well. How's that stimulus working, libs?

samantha, you don't have a clue whether or not Steve ever blessed anybody so you are not sure of anything. Regardless, Steve, I am glad to hear about the peace of mind you should have from this point on knowing that this money is coming in.

No doubt he will now have every lazy, money-grubbing, social failure of an American woman after him. Here's hoping he does the right thing and looks overseas for marriage, as more and more men are doing.

There is a way to get that kind of money over that period of time. It's called a career.
