John Edwards To Speak At Brown University

Former presidential candidate John Edwards is preparing to address an audience of students in Providence, Rhode Island.

It's one of his first public appearances since his admission of infidelity last summer.

The Tuesday night talk is titled "Beautiful America" and is hosted by the Brown University's lecture board.

Edwards was John Kerry's running mate in 2004 and ran again last year, before abandoning his bid during the Democratic primaries.

The former North Carolina senator acknowledged last August that he had an affair in 2006 with a woman, Rielle Hunter, who was hired to produce videos of him as he plotted a second bid for the White House.

Edwards has had limited public appearances since then.

I wish he would open his mouth to speak and say "I have just moved out of North Carolina".

Sam, I am an informed conservative democrat. I read the guys book prior to his election. After reading all he had I went on the internet and got informed on the guy. I took the name on as I am a snake oil company. He is my top salesman. He sells himself better than any politician I know and people were buying it. I want to remind people that Snake Oil is not more than the old liquor mixed with water that they sold as heal alls in the early years of US history. I want to remind anyone that voted for the chosen one that I warned them to do more homework and stop listening to the media. Bartow, W didn't lie, you can and never will prove that period. He took Bill Clintons intelligence agency info just like you would have. He was told he had to do something about it from Bill himself. You can learn more on the internet by just googling around. Now, put down the koolaide, I think you have been drinking too much.

I wonder how much money they are paying him, moreover, who cares what he has to say? But we all should feel sorry for him because he'll never be the man his mother was!

He never was a senator, only by title. His greatest fame is "an ambulance chaser." I was born and raised in North Carolina. John Edwards, almost makes me ashamed to admit it.Go away John, and may Ted Kennedy soon follow.

John Edwards is terrible for both NC and the US of A nation. I have a major problem with that creep. I have always said that NC's has some of the most crooked politicians in the United States, but John Edwards is one of the top 5 crooks in NC. You can put a lot of this messed up education system and economy problems from that guy. He is very greedy, and has had a lot to do with why medical costs are so high. He is a cheater. He is a liar. He is a thief. He is a no good person at all. I have never understood why or how he ever got elected by our people in the first place. Obama Snake Oil Corp, I am just curious, but what is the purpose of that name? I don't get it.

So Keith, I take it you're a liberal who thinks its okay to cheat? Typical. Let's make a deal liberals. We conservatives will take what we believe in; our religion, small business, big business, the big mean oil companies, the military and police, guns, the Ten Commandments, The Constitution, good moral beliefs/values and God. You liberals can have what you believe in; obama & co., reporations, entitlements, welfare, political crooks, william ayers, michael moore, sean penn, rev. wright, homosexuality, illegal aliens, unions, etc.... Now some of you will say I don't believe in these things. News Flash!!!! You knew obama and his idiots believed in these things, you voted for them; the shoe fits you so wear it. You were warned about the koolaid but sucked it down like it was cold water on a 100 degree day. Enjoy!!

He's personal injury lawyer and a politician. They are not required to have any morals or ethics. So he perfectly within his rights to peddle his BS wherever to anyone who is willing to listen (and over pay him). (Do ya suppose he knows that the money he gets paid is taxable?? - or does he still think he is one of the favored few?? The best thing he could do is stay at home and remain very quiet!!!
