Starbucks Introduces Its New Value Menu

Starbucks will launch its new value menu this morning.

For less than four dollars customers can get either a small latte with a choice of coffee cake or hot oatmeal, or a small drip coffee with a choice of one of four hot sandwiches.

The new program comes as the coffee roasting giant tries to combat slugging sales in light of the current economic crisis.

Go to Sheetz. Their made to order lattes and coffees are better than StarBUCKS and cheaper too. McD's has also improved their coffee. Both are better than 'BUCKS.

I used to spend on average about $200 a month at SB. I now buy my coffee at Foodlion and brew it myself. Yee ha. Hope they go under.

How in the world did Mickey D's rate higher in coffee, latte, Etc? I've had McDonald's cafe stuff and it was extremely too strong, not sweet enough and it was the same price. Although, I like starbucks, I can't afford to drink it but when I go to Wal-mart and get a bottle of it. We figure when you get something from the value menu, they will give you a shot size glass of coffee and that will be $3.99 LOL

The rating that was in Consumer Reports a while back didn't help. They rated McDonald's coffee as better than Starbucks. I personally think that Starbucks makes thier coffee a little too strong for my taste. Also, it is a little overpriced.I personally prefer Joe Muggs at the Books A Million stores.

AWESOME!! I LOVE STARBUCKS. But, they are expensive.Let me tell you a funny story, my husband went to a star bucks and asked for a plain black coffee, and the girl looked at him funny and said so you just wanna plain black coffee, no caramel, no mocha, and she started naming names of coffee and he said no PLAIN. lol.
