Former President Bush, Laura Bush Move To Dallas Home

George and Laura Bush have moved into their new Dallas digs.

The former president and his wife arrived by motorcade late this

Their 1959 ranch-style brick home sits at the top of a quiet cul-de-sac in a wealthy Dallas neighborhood. It has about 8,500 square feet, four bedrooms, four and a-half bathrooms and a wet bar. Local property records indicate the home is worth about $2.1 million.

Neighbors include Texas Rangers owner Tom Hicks, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, billionaire businessman T. Boone Pickens, Republican donor Harold Simmons and recently retired Exxon Mobil CEO Lee Raymond.

Dallas police and Secret Service agents have set up a barricade limiting access to the neighborhood.

The Bushes lived in Dallas from December 1988 through January 1995, before moving to the Texas governor's mansion in Austin.

Laura Bush is a graduate of nearby Southern Methodist University, which will house her husband's presidential library and think tank.

Talk about a're talking about George W. Bush. Of course it was the Democratic congress and before that it was a Democratic Presidents fault, and the reason we're in a war in the wrong country is ...? George Bush was a failure in almost everything he did. He got almost everything because of his last name. Yale, getting out of Vietnam, Governorship, and Presidency. Total screw up and everybody knows it, but won't admit it.

I like how all the Bush supporters don't talk about how after he couldn't find oil, in TEXAS, and the company went bankrupt and he sold all his stock....that the Bin Laden family gave him more money to try again. Oh yeah, let's forget all about that. Then he bankrupted that company too! He's the great BANKRUPTER!

Why would we wish "W" to be back in office, the nation is already bankrupt...he's done his damage. Couldn't find oil in Texas ruined a baseball team and bankrupted a nation..... what else, he ruins everything!
