Hair Weave Saves Woman From Bullet

A Missouri woman whose hair weave likely saved her life gives the credit to a much higher power.

Briana Bonds says she is blessed to be alive after police say they found a bullet fired by her ex-boyfriend lodged in her hair weave.

A Kansas City hair stylist says the weft, or fabric part, of the hair weave is the strongest part and would be the most difficult to penetrate.

The shooting happened Wednesday night, while Bonds was sitting in her car.

She says she knows the weave may have saved her life, but the real blessing came from above.

"If you ask me, I still think it was God who was actually in my passenger seat with me who actually stopped it," Bonds said. "I do."

To whomever is posing as La-Quicka, Sha-Nana, and Daquita, give me a break. Your ignorant attempt to portray a racial sterotype is obvious. Black hair does not need to be washed as often as white hair because it does not produce as much oil, however your insinuation that black women with hair weaves do not wash their hair is ignorant to say the least.

Come on people can't you see when some one is playing with you! As to the story, funny, funny, funny...lighten up!!! I think I'll get me a Kevlar weave! Sure is cheaper than a helmet. Come on WITN lets see Alpha's posts, only if they were funny!! hahaha I wonder how many on here have a mullet? Me, I'm just about bald and would like any hair-weave or otherwise...specially if it will stop bullets!

As much as Al Sharpton is busy running his mouth, starting more chaos to the whites, I doubt that he would be for supporting gay people in general. He would only support the gay people if they were black. If they were White, Hispanic, Asian, or Indian, he will not do anything for them. He is another crooked politician that is also a racist. The NAACP pays him for starting that kind of bogus.

This is unbeleivable and crazy. For you all that don't wash your hair, why not? That is disgusting, and if I ever went back to back days without washing my hair, I would go crazy. Going one day without washing my hair is too long and it gets to me enough to where it's uncomfortable and my skin starts itching, forget that.

Al Sharpton has a weave. His feminine side I guess you could say. Is he Presbyterian?
