Octuplet Mom Got Disability

A California agency says it paid the mother of newborn octuplets more than $165,000 in disability payments for an on-the-job back injury.

The payments made over six years to Nadya Suleman were disclosed
Thursday to The Associated Press following a public records request
to the Department of Mental Health. The payments were made between
2002 and 2008, during which time the single mother gave birth to
most of her six other children.

Suleman, who gave birth to the octuplets last week, was employed
at a state mental health hospital from 1997 until December, when
she resigned the position. Records show that for much of that time,
however, she was unable to work.

Hey, isn't this unfit mother from the same stste that just asked the president for bail out money? This should be an indication of what is going to happen. It would not surprise me if the govenor asked for more money in the future. IT APPEARS THAT NO ONE IS HELD ACCOUNTABLE.

Since when is this news? Her disability payments were going to run out and she needed a way to keep the money flowing. Thus, the octuplets were born! Now, she can make a living by milking the media...that is only if we, the public, pay attention to it. Let the media pay her the cash to do the interviews...The media makes their money back in ratings...so don't watch! Eventually, they'll get the picture and stop pasting her face on every internet, newspaper, and magazine story!

Evidently her disability did not keep her from procreating. I'm sure her family must be proud of her great accomplishments.

Sounds like she needs to be admitted to that mental hospital where she used to work.

What can I say--just another way to beat the system. No wonder our country is in so much trouble. Those who are really in need can't get a dime and this woman gets it all and the ones who will suffer as always are the children. And to the person who wrote the doctor should PAY for support of all those children--He should have his license taken away. What was he thinking?

Must be nice to get disability i've been turned down 3 times. can't work due to heart problems. they needed to check and see how she gets it. the only reason her back hurts is 14 children came from it.
