none of your business; I don't really care what the truth is. The fact is this, unless the parents were laying on the floor with sucking chest wounds that were perpetrated after they put the kids in the tub, they are negligent. PERIOD.

Let me just say that the news does not have the story right, and its really none of anyones business what exactly happened. For all of you who want to sit there and write nasty hate mail about this family, mind your own business and leave them alone. None of you know what really happened and you don't need to, the news will make up anything to get you to read it. So stop wasting your time writing hate mail about this poor family and go do something productive.

A mistake is... putting your shirt on inside out. A mistake is... picking up regular coke when you meant to grab diet. A mistake is... grabbing the wrong tooth brush in the bathroom and not realizing it until you stick a wet tooth brush into your mouth. Putting a 7 month old baby in the bathtub with a 2 year old.. unsupervised, and one dies is... irresponsible, and inexcusable. As a parent... your job is to clothe, feed, and keep your child(ren) safe.... This couple failed. Now people want to play the sympathy violin... not happening... this baby died under the parent's watch. Would they keep my kids? #ell no!

hey i just wanted to say im very close to this family like were blood related, so i think i know them more then any of you who like to be heartless and talk about my family, when you have no idea what your talking about. As heartbroken said the news is always dramatized and they even got there story, such as the sex of the children. you guys have know idea how warm hearted this couple is. yes they made one mistake and they have to live with it forever and i think thats the worst punishmeant they can get. Im just saying its wrong for you guys to be talking about this innocent couple who meant no harm but made a terrible mistake. No ones pefect im not your not your familys arent your parents arent Nobody okay! They dont deserve any punishment they already got it okay. The people who need punishment are the parents who kill their child on purpose. Just leave my family alone it would be real nice. To all the people who are caring thanks for praying for us, the funerals being held saturday.

Its still amazing to see how many people are taking up for these "individuals" who LEFT their 7mo old AND 2 yr old inthe tub ALONE. There are NO excuses, I dont care WHO you are. I dont care WHAT the story says, OBVIOUSLY these kids were left alone, it doesnt matter and they should be punished for it. Take that 2 year old away before something else happens!

You can't fix stupid & this is a prime example.....some irresponsible people should never be allowed to have children...hope the authorities for once do the right thing & place the other child in a loving, responsible home...

To leave a 7 month baby in the care of a 2 year old kid is just stupid. Apparently, their friends meant more to them than their own kids. They do not deserve kids and for God sake, the 2 year old that survived do not deserve to be left these parents. They do not have their priorities straight. Prosecute both parents.
