Report Finds More Americans Are Reading

More American adults are reading according to a new report.

According to the national endowment for the arts, more than half of American adults read a piece of literature in 2008. That's up from 46-point-seven percent in 2007.

However, the report also said that while more adults are reading, almost half of them were forced to read by an employer or teacher.
