Woof, Woof, Meow, Meow!!

A new poll suggests two-thirds of pet owners feel they know what their animals are trying to tell them with their sounds.

The survey by The Associated Press and Petside.com also finds 62 percent of the pet owners who were surveyed feel their animals understand human sounds.

Retired chemist Stephen King of Kempner, Texas, says he speaks
to his dog Dagny on limited subjects, and that she does the same
with him. King says he understands her repertoire of barks signaling anger, eagerness, contentment and other feelings.

More women than men say they and their pets understand each
other's verbal stabs at communication.

I agree with all of you. Animals are just like people and have feelings to. My golden retriever knows what kind of mood I get in. He is very loving and playful and likes for peace to go on. He is my best friend for two years, the amount of time since I first got him as a little puppy.

I agree, the longer you are with an animal the more you learn about each other. Animals also have moods just like people.

I agree with Tim, my cat "Fat Boy" understands me and knows when I am angry or happy with him and I the same for him. Animals are not by no means stupid.

Both my dog and cat do respond to my voice and what I say to them. Icertainly know what they want when they bark and meow as well. The longer you live with an animal, the easier it is to understand each other.
