Letter To Santa Leads To Man's Molestation Arrest

A Texas man has been arrested after a 9-year-old girl wrote to Santa Claus asking that a relative stop touching her and her sister.

The Monitor of McAllen reports that a man from the town of Pharr was arrested Friday and is in the Hidalgo County jail.

A criminal complaint says the girl turned the letter in at Cesar Chavez Elementary School. Authorities interviewed the girl after a school counselor reported the letter.

The complaint says investigators believe the molestation occurred over a period of four years. The man is charged with continuous sexual abuse of a young child and could face as many as 99 years in prison if convicted.

The Lord works in mysterious ways...you believe in what you want. The innocence of a 9 year old child believing that a fat white man in a red suit could stop a pervert from touching her and her sister...so she wrote a letter for the both of them....and it WORKED!!! Oh yes baby....believe.... In jail, the tables will be turned on this pervert and he'll get his often... And these two little girls will need years of therapy, and then maybe they will lead a mediocre life. I am so proud of her, she was and is so brave. Merry Christmas to these little girls.....case stamped...REDEMED!!

To Storydoubter-you are correct that people are innocent until proven guilty. And your attitude is precisely why some victims are afraid to come forward and press charges on the sick individual who has ruined their psyche forever. I don't believe in a lynch mob for this man, however, it is a crime to suggest that this poor little girl put on trial to determine her honesty. By the way, the story I have just read does not contain the defendant's name or picture.

That's pretty screwey. A child wouldn't've wrote something like this out of imagination, even if it was to Santa Claus, and thank God (and Santa?) she's getting her wish. I hope this sick man walks the plank!

Dawn, Who did you think was going to read these letters if it was a school assign? SANTA himself, Well as you know he is busy this time of the year. Sooooo I guess one of his elves had to help him. I really don't think years from now this little girl will say " I wish I hadn't sent that letter to Santa so my relative could still be molesting me." YOU THINK?

To Storydoubter have you ever been charged with a crime like this? I believe this child, she was writing to Santa not to the cops. Now she will believe there is a Santa because he will be in JAIL. Dawn who gives a crap about the letter being open at the school? If this letter had not been opened then What? Look at the whole story. Which is worst child being molestated or a letter being read by the teacher? Duh
