Vet: Kitten Used As Football

A kitten is recovering from surgery and waiting to be adopted after officials say some teenagers used it like a football.

A Kingsland, Georgia vet says Polly the kitten is lucky to be alive. The cat was only several weeks old when a group of teenager severely abused him, kicking him like a football.

One of Polly's had a shoulder that was ripped away from the body and had nerve damage in the leg. The leg had to be amputated. However, the vet says Polly should be fine and will live a normal life with three legs. The kitten is now up for adoption.

Police are still investigating the abuse. There have been no arrests.

Those teenagers who used a kitten as a football should be punished. But first let me kick them with my STEEL TOED BOOTS, so they can feel what that kitten felt. They are nothing but rotten kids that need to be taught a lesson.

The parents of the teenagers should be punished and forced to take parenting classes, especially if there are younger siblings. Make the cruel, thoughtless, hateful teenage idiots work in an animal shelter as part of their punishment

And thanks to liberals, we are going to feel sorry for the teenagers. *eyes roll* . Liberals probably want us to not punish the children, but help them, educate them.. *eyes roll again*. If we tried punishing criminals to the fullest extent of the law for a change and quit worrying about helping or rehabilitating them then people would know that if they do something bad ....they WILL be punished. But oh noooooo that would be too cruel... *eyes roll one last time*.

Like the old saying, what goes around comes around. They need to be treated like a football and see how they feel. They need to have there leg taking off and see if they like that.

Children who abuse animals tend to grow up to abuse other people or children. They need to fix this before it's too late. Kids who do this have serious emotional and behavioral problems and they need professional help. If not, they will one day face prison.

Those teenagers need to be kicked everyday like they kicked that kitten, one good kick to the head. A good punishment is to work in a kennel or pound cleaning for a few years. Those "children" are very inhumane individuals. I would really hate to know they may have learned from example!!

I am a practicing vet and I for one am glad that they used a kitten instead of a puppy and also that it was a kitten beacuse it probablly suffered very little pain because a kitten can stand very little blunt force trauma before it passes out
