Many areas in the east can look forward to improved Verizon Wireless service beginning Thursday.
Verizon Wireless announced Wednesday that it is launching its 4G L.T.E. wireless network in Goldsboro, Kinston, Roanoke Rapids, Rocky Mount and Wilson.
4G L.T.E. service provides speed 10 times faster than 3G. The expansion of this service is part of the company's improvement across the United States.
The network will be available in those areas on Thursday, July 19.
