Traffic Alert For Drivers In Duplin County

Drivers in Duplin County may need to head out a little earlier starting Monday due to construction on the roadway.

Construction crews will be shutting down a 10 mile stretch of N.C. 11 in Duplin County from just north of Main Street in Kenansville to B.F. Grady School in Albertson. Crews will be installing drainage pipes beneath the highway.

Detour signs will be posted to direct drivers to alternate routes. This stretch of road will be closed from July 23 through August 8.
