The Perils of Labor Day Traveling

According to Triple A-Carolinas, If you are one of the expected 926,300 North Carolinians who will travel more than 50 miles from home during the five-day Labor Day holiday travel period, you're among the same number of travelers who did the same last year.

The difference this year is in the price of gas. Last Labor Day the average price, according to triple a was $3.57, this year is $3.79, according to Gas Buddy Dot Com.

Last year in North Carolina, 10 people died and 470 were injured over the Labor Day period.
