Teens In Jail For Craven County Car Break-Ins

Three teens are in jail on charges they broke into cars this past weekend.

Conner Heath and Tyler Horner are both from New Bern and Joshua Melkonian is from Havelock. All three suspects are 18 years old.

Havelock police arrested the trio for allegedly breaking into cars on Friday in the Rice Lane and Ironwood Drive areas of Havelock. Police recovered what they believe is stolen property. Police said the cars the suspects broke into were not locked. They also believe they may be responsible for more break ins.

Havelock police want anyone who has not reported a recent car break-in to call them at (252)-447-3212.
