This week's Teacher Of The Week is Jodi Stocks.
She teaches Kindergarten at Moss Hill Elementary School in Lenoir County, the same school she attended as a child.
The person who nominated Jodi says she makes the transition into kindergarten excellent for students and that Jodi clearly loves her job.
Jodi says she has always wanted to be a teacher. In fact, as a child, she would sit her stuffed animals in a row and have school, complete with grading papers and centers.
Jodi graduated with a BS in Elementary Education from ECU in 2011 and was in fact released early from her internship so she could begin teaching second grade at Moss Hill.
She then made the transition into teaching kindergarten.
