A man has been charged in connection with this morning's deaths of three horses in Onslow County.
Deputies say Keith Kincy was taken into custody early this morning and has now been charged with three counts of cruelty to animals.
The shooting happened outside a home on Hubert Boulevard around 4:00 a.m. The woman who lives at the home says Kincy is the father of her children.
He is also charged with discharging a firearm within 500 feet of an occupied dwelling and driving with license revoked.

Deputies say one of the horses died after being shot, while the other two had to be euthanized by a veterinarian.
Kincy is jailed on a $16,000 bond.

Official informed WITN late Friday morning that all three horses involved in the shooting on Hubert Boulevard have now died.
While one horse was killed during the crime, a veterinarian had to put the other two horses to sleep.
Deputies said one person is in custody for the crimes. Authorities have yet to release the suspect's information.

One person is in custody for the shooting death of a horse in the Hubert area of Onslow County early Friday.
Onslow County deputies say three horses were shot around 4 a.m. Friday at 401 Hubert Blvd. One horse died, and the two others were wounded.
