The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered woman last seen in Corolla.
Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for Helga Elly Ammon, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
The 74-year-old woman is 5'5'' and weighs 140 pounds. Ammon has short gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gold pajama top and an Alzheimer bracelet. She was last seen at 333 Audobon Dr. in Corolla.
Anyone with information about Helga Elly Ammon should call Sgt. Lasher at the Currituck County Sheriff's Office at 252-232-2216.
