State Board Of Elections To Decide On Sunday Voting

People in Pitt County should know later this morning whether voting on Sundays will be included this time around for the early voting period.

The State Board of Elections will decide today whether to accept the Pitt County plan, though it appears the plan to have one location open for voting on two Sundays will go through.

An email from the state board says it plans to approve proposals that have majority support from the local board.

The Pitt County Board of Elections voted 2-1 last month to allow the Sunday voting.
