Have you filled out any medical forms lately? If so, you may have given your doctor extra information that may not be fully secure.
Credit.com states that medical offices are not always protecting your information to the best of its abilities.
According to the website, there are four things your doctor doesn't necessarily need to know so the wrong hands don't get a hold of it. Those things are:
--Your social security number, except for medicare patients
--Family members' social security numbers
--Your email address
--Any financial information not used to pay your immediate bill such as keeping your credit card on file
Next time you visit the doctor's office, think carefully before you fill out your medical form with crucial information.
