New House For Family Who Lost Their Home To Fatal Fire

A family who has been through so much tragedy could clear the final hurdle to a new chapter in their lives Friday.

A horrific fire killed three children of the Pittman family in Onslow County in February. Five other children and the mother, Johnetta, were injured in the fire, but survived.

The house that the community built for the Pittmans is close to being moved into. The Jacksonville Daily News says a final inspection of the brand new home in Richlands will take place Friday. People donated land, supplies and money to help the Pittmans get a new home.
