Man Killed In Wayne County Motorcycle Crash

A motorcyclist was killed in Wayne County Tuesday when he ran into the back of another vehicle.

The Highway Patrol says 64-year-old Mike Dawson of Seven Springs died after rear-ending a pickup truck on Highway 55 near Seven Springs in Wayne County.

Troopers say the pick-up truck that Dawson hit was going 30 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone. The truck had just come onto the highway from a private driveway shortly before the accident, troopers say.

The crash is under investigation, but troopers say no charges have been filed.
