Law Enforcement Collecting Prescription Drugs Saturday

Several police and sheriff's office across the area are urging people to drop off prescription drugs they don't need in their houses anymore.

Several events titled "Operation Medicine Cabinet" are planned in Eastern Carolina Saturday. It's a chance for people to bring medicine they don't want or need anymore to a place where it can be safely disposed of.

The service to drop off your drugs is free and anonymous. There are no questions asked, police say.
