Isuzu Recalls Thousands Of SUVs

Isuzu has issued a recall of more than 11,000 vehicles.

According to documents posted on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's website, the recall involves Amigo SUVs from the 1998 to 2001 model years and Rodeo Sport SUVs from the 2001 and 2002 model years.

Parts in the rear suspension can rust and break away from the frame, which can affect the vehicle's handling and possibly cause a crash.

Isuzu dealers will inspect and treat the suspensions or install a reinforcing bracket free of charge. Owners may contact Isuzu at 1-800-255-6727.
