Some new research could change the time of day you schedule your baby's doctors appointments for.
Research has shown that immunizations take hold more strongly when a baby sleeps for a long period afterward.
According to the study, babies slept more soundly when they got their shots after 1:30pm in the afternoon , whether or not they were given any fever medications.
The infants vaccinated in the afternoon also slept an average of 70 minutes longer than those vaccinated in the morning, regardless of their weight, age or if they were given medication.
