Highway Patrol Releases More Details On Cove City Crash

We have an update on a story that captivated the country, the little Craven county girl who survived for two days in a crashed car.

Nine-year-old Jordan Landon was trapped in the car in Cove City, next to her father, who was killed in the crash.

The Highway Patrol has been investigating the cause of the accident, and they say alcohol has been officially ruled out.

Troopers say Douglas Landon was going 100 miles per hour when he crashed on highway 55, and the car flipped out of sight in a ditch.
