Groundbreaking Today For New Water Access In Jacksonville

Ground will be broke on a new place to put your boat in Onslow County.

Jacksonville Landing is a collaborative effort between the state, Onslow County and Jacksonville to create a significant new water access point for the area. It will be located between the Phillips and Popkins Bridges over the new river.

When it's done, Jacksonville Landing will host three boat ramps, two docks, handicapped canoe and kayak launches, a visitor's center with public restrooms, as well as open space for a park.
