Greenville Police Begin Neighborhood Crime Series

In an effort to curb community crime, Greenville police said Tuesday marks the beginning of a new forum series brought to your doorstep.

Starting Tuesday, Greenville police will be hosting public forums on crime prevention and community safety across the city.

Officer said they will host the hour-long meetings on the second Tuesday of every month in different neighborhoods.

On the agenda for the first meeting is discussion on fraud prevention, a new zone deployment plan for officers, and even estate planning.

Police said they would have officers on hand to answer any questions while workers with NC Legal Aide will also be there to talk with neighbors about living wills and estate planning.

The November 12th meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Barnes-Ebron Taft Community Center in the Greenfield Terrace Neighborhood.
