NEW INFO: Greenville Bojangles Held Up At Gunpoint

Greenville police are asking for the community's help in solving the armed robbery of a local Bojangles.

Police say they responded to the panic alarm being pulled at the Bojangles on Farmville Blvd. in Greenville around 5:20 a.m. Sunday. The employees told police that two men came in through the back door and forced the employees into the food storage area. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police say the armed suspect was at least six feet tall and had long, thick dreadlocks. A mask covered his face. The other suspect appeared to be in his late 30s with short, graying facial hair.

Greenville police say they are following up on a few leads already developed, but they hope the community can help identify the suspects.

Police are asking anyone with information about this case to call Det. Michael Blunt of the Greenville Police Department's Major Crimes Unit, at 329-4176.
