Governor Perdue Kicks Off Economic Talks In Williamston

Governor Bev Perdue will visit Eastern Carolina Friday highlighting economic success in small towns.

Perdue is scheduled to speak at the first of three regional small town summits on economic development and competitiveness. The discussion will take place at Martin Community College in Williamston at 9 a.m.

The forums will bring together state and local officials with business and economic development leaders. They will unite with various federal, state, local and nonprofit organizations dedicated to community economic development.
