Drug Roundup In Eastern Carolina
Dozens of people are facing drug charges after a huge roundup of suspects that involved three counties in eastern Carolina.
The crackdown happened in Hyde, Washington and Tyrrell Counties. Forty-seven people were arrested on 103 felony charges and 29 misdemeanor charges. Agents seized firearms, cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana during the operation.
Some of the arrests followed undercover officers buying drugs. The effort involved local, state and federal authorities.
