Aurora Man Charged For Drugs, DWI

An Aurora man is behind bars in Pitt County facing DWI and drug charges.

Records show 36-year-old Aristafarse Aldridge of Highway 33 East in Aurora in Beaufort County is behind bars under a $500,000 bond. Officials in the Pitt County Detention Center say the Highway Patrol arrested Aldridge Monday afternoon on charges of DWI with alcohol, but and possession with intent to manufacture, sell and distribute heroin.
