UPDATED: ECU Grad Student Killed In Morning Accident

Greenville police have released the name of the woman killed in this morning's crash on Greenville Boulevard.

The victim is Jenna Seagraves from Harrisburg, that's outside of Charlotte. Police say the 23-year-old was driving south on the highway when she struck the tractor trailer.

Seagraves was a graduate student at ECU's College of Education.

Police say the truck was stopped for the traffic light. The driver of the truck was not hurt.

Seagraves was taken to Pitt County Memorial Hospital where she died.

Police say their investigation into the accident is continuing.

Greenville Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at the intersection of Greenville Blvd. and 10th St.

Police say the fatal collision happened around 3 a.m. Thursday. A spokesman said a small SUV collided with a tractor trailer. The driver of the SUV did not survive. The tractor trailer driver is not injured.

Police have not released the name of the victim. Detectives are trying to determine what caused the fatal crash.
