Students in Pitt County are getting a little more "wiggle room" in their uniform policy.
The Pitt County School Board voted to add dresses and additional sweatshirt colors to their uniform policy Monday.
A schools spokesperson says some of the sweatshirt color options for some schools were not enough, especially with cold weather coming.
Sweaters without hoods and sweatshirts that are white, navy, black, khaki or the school choice color are approved now, as long as there is no logo on them.
Dresses that are white, navy, black, khaki or the school choice color are okay now, too.
