Riley's Army is an organization aimed at providing support to children with cancer and their families in Eastern North Carolina. The organization is named for Riley Philpot, the daughter of two physicians in Greenville, who has battled a Wilm's Tumor in her young life. Riley is cancer-free, but may remain on treatment over the coming months.

Colorectal Cancer Screening
Thursday, December 4, 1 p.m., Lenoir Memorial Hospital, Kinston
This free clinic is for men and women age 40 and over who have never had or been screened for colorectal cancer.
This clinic will be held in the Minges Wellness Center classroom and led by members of the WellAware team and the

Prostate Cancer Screenings
Saturday, September 13, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.at Lenoir Memorial Cancer Center, Kinston
Lenoir Memorial Hospital and Lenoir Memorial Foundation in conjunction with Doctors Lee Cox and Andrej Hnatov will provide the free prostate cancer screening, Saturday, September 13. You must be 40 years of age or older to participate. Pre-register by calling (252) 522-7846.
