How To Help Virginia Tornado Victims

The American Red Cross in Suffolk, VA can be reached at (757) 539-6645. Officials say people who would like to help the victims of Monday's tornado outbreak can make a donation over the phone or by mailing donations to:
American Red Cross Suffolk Chapter: 157 North Main St., Suffolk, Va. 23434.

The American Red Cross says they cannot accept used goods. Officials with the charity say money is the most helpful so they can buy what is needed most.

More than 200 people are injured after a trio of tornadoes that ripped through southern Virginia. Governor Tim Kaine has declared a state of emergency for the area.
