Ferry Service Gets Back To Normal

A ferry run is getting back to normal Thursday.

The N.C. Department of Transportation says the Swan Quarter to Ocracoke ferry runs return to their normal schedule starting February 14.

One of the ferries, the Cedar Island, has been repaired and is operating again.

The normal schedule to resume Thursday:
From Swan Quarter, departure times are 7 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Departing from Ocracoke, the times are 6:30 a.m., 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.
