Coast Guard Rescues Boaters From Pamlico Sound

Coast Guard crews pulled four people from the Pamlico Sound after their boat sank Thursday evening.

The 20-foot pleasure cruiser sank and put the four people on board in the water near Pamlico Point. Right before the Coast Guard rescued those boaters, they had to escort a fishing boat that was taking on water to shore. The rescues happened within five miles and five minutes of each other in the Pamlico Sound.
