A hearing in New Bern Wednesday will look at more than 80 proposed changes to hunting, fishing and trapping laws in North Carolina.
One of the major proposed changes is reducing the buck bag limit from four to two in Eastern Buck Season. That would mean the limits are the same statewide. The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission is also looking at changing the rules on striped bass limits.
The meeting in New Bern begins at 7 p.m. at the courthouse in New Bern.
