A dense fog advisory is in place for all of Eastern North Carolina for Monday morning. The advisory is scheduled to expire at 9 a.m.
The National Weather Service warns visibilities may drop to near zero for some, especially in areas near bodies of water.
Drivers are cautioned to drive slow in the fog and use low beam headlights. They're also urged to leave plenty of distance
between their vehicle and others.
Camden, Hertford, Tyrrell and Edenton-Chowan County Schools are operating under one-hour delay, due to the fog.
