Three people have been arrested in Wayne County on a number of theft charges.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, 24-year-old Ashley Briggs of Goldsboro is charged with felony larceny, while 22-year-old Jeffrey Briggs of Goldsboro and 22-year-old Christopher Tyndall of Princeton are charged with felony larceny, felony possession of stolen goods, and felony false pretense.
The three were wanted in connection with a stolen radiator from Emmaus Church Road valued at $2,500. During the investigation, it was discovered that J. Briggs and Christopher Tyndall were responsible for taking and selling the stolen item, according to authorities.
While that case was being investigated, information was received that these same suspects may be responsible for a reported theft on S. Beston Rd., with over $2,000 in stolen goods being reported stolen from under a shelter. A. Briggs was charged in the incident on S. Beston Rd.
Authorities say the investigation will continue and additional charges are expected against these 3 individuals.
