NC Man Arrested In Walmart For Shopping With Fake Million Dollar Bill

Do you have change for a million-dollar bill?

Police say a Lexington NC man insisted his million-dollar note was real when he was buying $476 worth of items at a Walmart.

Investigators told the Winston-Salem Journal that 53-year-old Michael Fuller tried to buy a vacuum cleaner, a microwave oven and other items. Store employees called police after his insistence that the bill was legit, and Fuller was arrested.

The largest bill in circulation is $100. The government stopped making bills of up to $10,000 in 1969.

Fuller was charged with attempting to obtain property by false pretense and uttering a forged instrument. He is in jail on a $17,500 bond, and it isn't clear if he has an attorney. He is scheduled to be in court Tuesday.

I once purchased a one million dollar bill from Wal-Mart in the party favors section. My niece put it in her toy register with the rest of her toy money.

I hope it was (at least) a Dyson vac! At least it wasn't a sad story, like someone killed, but a "what were you thinking" story.

They don't; here's an example: "Wisconsin man, 82, calls 60th polar bear plunge his last", according to AP news.

If it had been a smart walmart clerk she would have given him back a $500,000 a $400,000 a $99,000 and a $634.00 bill and told him it was his lucky day as he could go home and it would be shipped free to his door by FEDUP on sat 12:00 pm just go home and wait for it.

It's obvious the man has some mental deficit. It will probably come out later on.
