A traffic stop in Halifax County leads to two drug related arrests.
Authorities say they conducted a traffic stop on I-95 in Halifax County on Friday.
They say the traffic stop resulted in the arrest of 23-year- old Kevin Beamon Jr, of Fayetteville, and 25-year-old Akeem Williamson of Greenville for trafficking heroin.
Lawmen report both are held in the Halifax County Detention Center under a $50,000.00 bond and both have a court date of September 26 in Halifax.
