Three people are dead after a bloody melee at a North Carolina bar, and the surviving brother of one of the victims is charged with murder.
Asheville Police Capt. Tim Splain said Thursday the victims were beaten, stabbed or both.
Police say a man was asked to leave Mike's Sidepocket on Wednesday because he was intoxicated, then returned and began stabbing people.
Officers charged 52-year-old Stevie Gene Davis with first-degree murder. He's being held in Buncombe County's jail.
The Asheville Citizen-Times reports that police believe Steven Wike killed two people in the bar, including Davis' brother. Davis is charged with then killing Wike.
A fourth victim was treated at the bar. A second man was charged with aiding and abetting.
It wasn't immediately clear if Davis has an attorney.
