Silver Alert Cancelled For Man Possibly Headed To Outer Banks

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has cancelled a Silver Alert for a missing endangered man, Kyle Matthew Henn.

A family member says Henn was found safe in Wake County.

Last year Henn survived a plane crash at the Chapel Hill airport as he was being flown back to the Triangle after his brother was killed in a terrorist attack in Africa.

I thought Silver Alerts were for people with mental disabilities and the elderly who were missing and feared in danger. Where in this does it say he was either of those? He looks like he's in his 20s to me. Story didn't give much detail as to why it was issued, and why he might have been in danger, or why he may have been going to the Outer Banks. But I am glad he was found safe but the reporting needs to be more insiteful.
