What about Pitt County? We are having to listen to you on the radio. You are not really reporting on anything happening here. Not a good feeling when you don't know what's happening.

We lost power between 9:30 & 10:30 last night due to tree falling across powerline & then caught on fire. Called fire department but by time they arrived fire was out. 80 year old Grandmother lives next door. Still no power.

I'm pretty sure the utility repair workers aren't checking with WITN posts to see if you want your power back on or not. They aren't taking a brunch break. They're working on it.
