If you tend to push your speed limit more than you should, Monday is a good today to take the pedal off the medal.
A new "No Need 2 Speed" campaign starts in our state this morning. That means officers will set up more patrols to crack down on speeders.
They hope the effort will save lives, in 2010 in North Carolina, 490 people died in speed-related crashes.
The speed crackdown will last through Sunday.
