NC Woman's Yearbook Travels 30 Miles In Storm

A North Carolina woman who thought she lost everything after the tornado, has had one of her possessions returned.

Two women in Cary found a 1978 Lee County yearbook in the storm debris. After some detective work on Facebook they were able to find its owner, Beth Pope of Sanford. The yearbook traveled 30 miles in the storm away from Pope's destroyed house.

Pope says she is grateful to have her memories back when she has lost so much.

That is GREAT!! During the flood of 1999 I lost everything including all of my HS yearbooks. However weird it may seem, I find myself missing those old yearbooks quite a lot. Maybe because my kids are now in HS...or just one of those items that can't be replaced! Praying for all storm victims!!
